Tamale is also known as a conservative Muslim society in Ghana. #CurateTamale

Despite the dominance of Islam in Tamale, there is no record of any religious clash or disagreement with other religions. #CurateTamale
Just arrived at the Tamale Central Mosque for Jummah Prayers...it is beautiful! #CurateTamale

Tamale Central Mosque

The most widely spoken language in Tamale is Dagbanli. 'Amaraaba' to Tamale anytime you drop in the city. #CurateTamale

Tamale is also cosmopolitan with different people from different backgrounds #CurateTamale

My neighbours are Yoruba's all the way from #Nigeria. We share a lot in common making our differences less important. #CurateTamale

About to begin my litclub session with @theleagueghana litclub girls in my community #CurateTamale

Litclubs are safe learning centers for girls to build their literacy and to receive direct mentoring @litworldsays #CurateTamale

As Tamale Regional Coordinator for the 10,000 global girls initiative, I currently have 2 Litclubs @litworldsays #CurateTamale

My goal is to have as many #litclubs as possible in order to touch the lives of lots and lots of girls in Tamale #CurateTamale

Girls welcoming each other with the litclub 'hello' song @litworldsays #CurateTamale

Mariam (10) has never been to school. The litclub @litworldsays gives her a place to learn too #CurateTamale

The clouds are darkening. A possible rain in Tamale. We hope there will be no floods. Please keep safe #CurateTamale

And don't forget, tomorrow is National Sanitation Day. Let's keep Tamale clean #CurateTamale

Clean all choked gutters in Tamale. We can't afford another flood in Ghana. #CurateTamale

It has been an amazing day as a curator. It is refreshing and humbling to share a day in Tamale with the world. #CurateTamale
