Curator's Tweets

Hello everyone, my name is Hafiz Gunu and i'll be your curator for the day...#CurateTamale

I'm a radio presenter for Bishara 97.7 sports desk and host of Bishara Youth Digest ; a youth based program.....#CurateTamale

I've lived in Tamale for 7 years. Hopefully, that will come in handy in answering ur qstns  abt the city..#CurateTamale

BTW, it's my first time on the curating streets so please be gentle w/ me as i promise to do my very best.#CurateTamale

Tamale is the regional capital and commercial hub of the Northern Region....#CurateTamale

It is home to a population of about 350,000 people.....#CurateTamale

Tamale is a unique City in terms of it's architectural lay out....#CurateTamale

This architectural uniqueness stems from a refreshing blend of thatched and modern houses....#CurateTamale

The thatched houses have assumed a new look as the city continue to embrace the wind of change....#CurateTamale

The thatched houses are slowly being modified by inhabitants to suit current standards..#CurateTamale

It is with worth noting that, the structures still maintain that unique round look.....#CurateTamale

Some say it is gentrification.....i say it's transformation..#CurateTamle

New look of round homes....#CurateTamale

With a simple device such as a phone, one gets a good view of the city on any 3 or 4 storey building.....#CurateTamale

Unlike other cities that struggle w/ traffic congestion....not the case in Tamale..#CurateTamale

Unlike de hostile picture of indigenes painted to non-residents, de situation is simply the opposite on de ground.#CurateTamale

Times w/o number I've had friends confess how cathartic it is to visit Tamale....#CurateTamale

Worried abt moving around??...Hitch hiking is a common practice..#CurateTamale

Bikers' are ever ready to offer help to a complete stranger....I know this coz i'm one...#CurateTamale

Most people just shout the words "any lift".....#CurateTamale

Or my personal favorite the weird "sssssss". Lol. No idea where they got that. Maybe is a Ghanaian thing..#CurateTamale

Spare some time to learn at least the greeting in the major languages.....#CurateTamale

Nothing more endearing to the locals than a complete stranger trying to speak the language...#CurateTamale

Football fans looking to catch a live game in a serene atmosphere can do so @ Woodin, Chucks or Mike's Pub..#CurateTamale

Those looking for a raw experience should visit Alhassan Hotel...it is the MECCA of football banter....#CurateTamale

140 characters is woefully inadequate to find the right words to describe this magnificent city....#CurateTamale

Don't just take my word for it......come experience a new world and go back home with your own story...#CurateTamale

Thank you so much for your time. You can reach me directly @hafigunu_20 with your comments.
