Dasiba. Anshumaa. Good morning Ghana! I'm Hassan Mohammed and I'm your curator for today.

Dasiba n Anshumaa are morning greetings in Dagbani n Gonja, respectively. U respond by saying Naa...and Awoo for the latter.

Interestingly, "Naa" is the only way you respond to greetings in Dagbani, anytime of the day. With Gonja, its always "Awoo"

Tamale is not just inhabited by Dagombas or Northerners. Its a cosmopolitan city with people from all parts of Ghana.

There's a peaceful atmosphere for the coexistence of all these ethnic groups. Inter-ethic tolerance is the order of the day.

Inter-ethnic conflicts? Not a thing to worry about. "Nangban' yini" is a phrase you'll definitely hear often when in Tamale.

Nangban' yini literally means "1 mouth" With that, UNITY and TOLERANCE come to mind and that's exactly what the phrase means.

Speaking of unity, that's what's gonna happen in my tummy b/n the koko and bread I'm taking for breakfast Y'all are invited!

We don't just live to eat. Exercise too! A state of the art gym is in the stadium. Sign up

Breaking the negative stereotypes in 140 characters or less at a time. :-)

Are you new in Tamale? Don't worry, we don't bite. The people of the North set the standards of hospitality in GH.

The Dagomba man is not greedy at all.In fact, custom demands he kills a fat cock 🐓 to prepare chicken soup for his visitors.

And if you ever thought the people of Northern Gh as backward, you gotta re-think. Check this out👇

Don't be shocked when you come across a kid in Tamale who's very fluent in the English lang. Its very normal here. We❤educ.

Communication is nothing to worry about when in my city. Just speak English, we'll sort you out.

Miss me? I'm just back from the mosque. Couldn't wish you guys Jummah Mubarak before leaving. Was running late.

Better late than never. Jummah Mubarak. Have a blessed Friday!

We are living in a world where morals are slowly dying out. Come to Tamale. The People still place a premium on moral values.

Modesty in dress code, respect for the elderly...Matter of fact, we squat to greet the elderly in our society.

You can travel from one end of Tamale to the other, literally. With no hustle at all! Not because the city is small...

Transportation is not a problem within this city. And I'm not talking trotro, I'm talking taxis. Real nice ones.

I'm trying to run home before this rain intensifies, I'm gonna have to ride my little mapuka like a sport bike.

And Yes! The women are so brave, they ride motor bikes. The mapuka is their favorite.

Mapuka is just a nickname given to a certain category of motor bikes. Picture coming soon!

You've gotta love Tamale women. Now those are mapuka bikes👇

If you're quite the shopaholic, I got good news for you. You can still enjoy your hobby in Tamale...

Melcom, Forsmuel, Quality 1st, Somovision...yes we have them all. They're open for the Window shoppers too.

And if you're the tech geek, there are phone and PC shops in and around the city. NextDoor, Office Point, Sabonkudi et a l

What's more? There's a Samsung showroom in the same building with the Post Office and a new Apple center opposite adjacent Wooden Restaurant.

is so much fun. I don't wanna stop. If you also want to curate, just mention in your tweets. We'll contact you!

And this is how I draw the curtains. "Indeed with every difficulty comes ease" Quran 94:6.

"Ti kuma ni puhi vari libigi da'kabiriba" will translate that for you! Have a blissful weekend! Assalamu-alaikum.
