#Pieli: Tallywood, Northern Ghana's Booming Film Industry

Tallywood, just like Ghallywood, Nollywood and Bollywood is derived from America's Hollywood. Tallywood is a blending of Tamale and Hollywood. It is Ghana's Northern Region's film industry that has been thriving for a few decades.

Despite the fact that the Ghanaian film industry in recent times has had little support from the government, there has been a dramatic increase in film production in Ghanaian languages like Dagbanli (Tallywood) and Twi (Kumawood).
